If you scroll down about 4 or 5 inches, and draw a line east of Petersburg, Virginia on the map below, and you will find the location of our 3 churches of the Prince George Charge. Sycamore is located just north of Prince George, Newville Church is in Newville and Salem Church is in Burrowsville.

Prince George County is located in the heart of Virginia, 25 miles southeast of Richmond. It is primarily a developing suburban county, bordered on the north by the affluent residential city of Colonial Heights, the broad and historic James River, the industry-rich City of Hopewell, and rapidly growing Chesterfield County. On the west by the Appomattox River and the City of Petersburg. Included in Prince George County is the historic and bustling Fort Lee, home of the U. S. Army Quartermaster School.

Prince George County is well located along the State's major interstate highways: I-95, I-85, I-295, US-460 and State Route 10. Yet the County is largely rural and suburban. The Hampton Roads Ports are just 75 miles to the east, and there are three international airports withing 75 miles, yet there is a lot of quiet countryside here. The county is strategically located within a 500 mile radius of 50 percent of the nation's population and 55 percent of its manufacturing activity, thus, making it an ideal location for business or industry.
